Golan Heights
The Golan Heights is renowned as one of Israel’s most scenic areas. Leadership Yeshiva
Academy is set amongst the agricultural lands and nature reserves of this picturesque
landscape. Void of distractions and perfect for encouraging personal and spiritual
growth, students at LYA gain a unique insight, appreciation and connection to the
land. The surrounding areas are filled with nature reserves, rives, waterfalls,
natural springs, mountains, vineyards and orchards.
Additionally, LYA is 20 minutes from Katzrin, 40 minutes from Tsfat and half an
hour from Tiberius. There are daily buses to Tiberius and buses twice a day direct
to Jerusalem.
Moshav Avnei Eitan
Leadership Yeshiva Academy is located on Moshav Avnei Eitan. This is a religious
agricultural moshav. Students have the opportunity to interact and make personal
connections with the families of the moshav. Each student is adopted by a local
family - many past students feel they gained a “second home” through the connections
made with their adoptive family. These connections help our students better integrate
within Israeli society, learn Hebrew and make meaningful connections to the local
people.
What about friends in Jerusalem?
Leadership Yeshiva Academy understands the importance of Jerusalem to the students.
Many seminars and trips are held in Jerusalem and the surrounding areas. Additionally,
transport and time is regularly available for students to go spend time with their
friends in Jerusalem. Students studying at LYA have just as much time with their
friends in Jerusalem as students from other Yeshivot.
